Angela is a mixed-media artist creating a dialogue about life with a long-term illness. Her work highlights the pressures placed on the sick to conform with Sontag’s concept of ‘the kingdom of the well’.
Her practice involves a combination of analogue paper collage and image editing in Procreate. The edited images are then printed onto fabric using the sublimation printing process.
She has recently completed her MA in Contemporary Fine Art at the University of Salford and has been working as an artist across a range of disciplines for the past 25 years.
Angela is currently based in the North West of England. She has exhibited in galleries and publications both across the UK and internationally.
